Unicorn Themed Children’s Birthday Party
Gatineau and Ottawa Children’s Party Photographer
Last winter I shot my first styled children’s party. I loved how the photos turned out and having the photos featured on various party blogs. I wanted to do another styled party session, so I was happy when Carla from Carla’s Cakes contacted me to collaborate again. Currently, my daughter is obsessed with unicorns, so I thought why not shoot a unicorn themed children’s birthday party. I scoured Pinterest like crazy looking for unicorn party ideas. I was blessed to have several awesome vendors help me bring my vision to reality.
A special thanks to the following people who helped with this photo shoot:
Thanks to Carla of Carla’s Cakes for creating such pretty edible works of art. I loved the cute little lilac unicorn on the cake. I also loved the pretty golden unicorn horns on top of each dual-toned cupcake. And to top it all off, I tried the cupcakes and cake pops. They’re so delicious. If you’re looking for a baker for a birthday or wedding, give Carla a shout. Her sweets are awesome.
Thanks to Cynthia of Moonlight Events for letting me use some of her gorgeous specialty linens and luxury props. They completely made the styled shoot. If you need plates, linens or furniture for an event, contact Moonlight Events. They have lots of gorgeous and sparkly props. I was wowed when I went to their warehouse to pick up the borrowed items. There’s so much pizzazz and sparkle in the showroom.
Thanks to Liz of Ivy Stripe for creating the beautiful sweets table sign. She’s very talented. I love the water colour look to it and the pretty font.
Please take the time to check out all of the various vendors’ links listed below.
