Spring Maternity Photos Ottawa Arboretum | Ottawa Maternity Photographer
This past May I photographed some spring maternity photos at the Ottawa Arboretum and the Experimental Farm. This particular couple are good friends of mine. I’m so happy for them as this is their first baby. If you haven’t visited the Arboretum or the Experimental Farm in the spring, you are truly missing out. It’s a real treat to drive up Prince of Wales Dr. during that time and see candy floss trees lining the streets.
Although were were starting to get eaten alive by the mosquitoes, I was able to take some beautiful maternity photos of them. I know that they and their families will cherish them for years to come. I highly recommend for all pregnant women to have professional maternity photos taken while they’re pregnant. Since pregnancy only lasts a short time, you should savour the memories by having beautiful portraits to look back on over the years.
For anyone wanting to do maternity photos, contact me. I LOVE shooting maternity portraits. The best time to do a maternity photo session is when you are between 28-32 weeks pregnant. Your partner is welcome and encouraged to be in the photo shoot with you as it makes the photos more meaningful. For anyone who doesn’t really know what to wear for their maternity photos, I recommend for you to read by blog post about What to Wear for Maternity Photos.
You can check out their son’s newborn photos. He’s a handsome little baby, that’s for sure. In the meantime, I wanted to leave this quote about pregnancy that is very fitting for this spring maternity photo shoot: “The life of a mother is the life of a child. You are two blossoms on a single branch.” (Quote by: Karen Maezen Miller)
