Rustic Engagement Photos Experimental Farm
Ottawa Engagement Photographer
Here are some rustic engagement photos at the Experimental Farm in Ottawa that I shot of James and Shawna. Both of them are very down-to-earth people who grew up in the country, so they wanted a rustic feel for their Ottawa engagement photos. I am pretty much in love with anything remotely rustic (ie. barns, open fields, bales of hay), so I was really excited to shoot their engagement photo session. The weather and lighting were perfect and I am happy with how the engagement photos turned out.
The only request Shawna and James gave me was that they wanted to incorporate corn fields into their engagement photos, since corn plays a big part in how these two love birds got together. You see, James used to be a truck driver who brought corn to the ethanol plant four times a day, which is where Shawna worked. They would talk to each other each time he delivered a load of corn and finally after three months of talking to each other, James finally gathered enough courage to ask Shawna out on a date. And when they were strolling among the corn, these cuties had their first kiss. How cute is that?!?! You can check out their rustic wedding photos at Srathmere.
Not getting married? I also photograph family photos, maternity photos, newborn photos and cake smash photos.
UPDATE: This Ottawa engagement photo session was featured on the Japanese wedding blog, Weddabroad. Check it out.
