Ottawa Spring Engagement Pictures
Last week I photographed some Ottawa spring engagement pictures with these two lovelies. The weather has been fairly chilly, so the flowers have been taking longer to bloom. However, we were still able to get some photos with some pretty flowering trees, thanks to the magnolia trees.
We started off at the Arboretum and then headed over to the Experimental farm. They wanted to do some silly photos; hence the skipping with the umbrella shots. I also liked that they incorporated an umbrella in their photo shoot, because it was meaningful to them. My memory isn’t always the best, but I remember them telling me that it was either raining on their first date or they first kissed under an umbrella. (I hope that one of those is right!)
I’m super happy with how their engagement photos turned out. They listened to my instructions and were happy to smile for the camera. The backdrops were pretty and I got lots of genuine smiles from them. Some of the loveliest photos were taken of them just walking along the road with the gorgeous bright green leaves on the trees as their backdrop. Anyway, I hope that everyone enjoys these engagement photos. I look forward to shooting their wedding at Brittania Yacht Club in July.
Are you getting married? Perhaps you just recently got engaged. If so, I’d like to congratulate you. Also, I’d love the opportunity to photograph your engagement photos, since I love photograping couples. And if you’re also looking for a wedding photographer, contact me. I can send you my wedding photography pricing guide. I look forward to hearing from you.
