Tom and Leah’s Orchard View Wedding Photos
Several weeks ago I shot Tom and Leah’s Orchard View wedding photos. With all of the heat and humidity that we’ve been having for quite some time, we were blessed that it wasn’t too hot, but still sunny. It made for a nice outdoor wedding at the pergola area and then it was nice to head indoors into air conditioning.
Their wedding went without a hitch. Except for a slight blunder with pinning the wrong flowers on the men (which was soon rectified), it went smoothly. Everyone was in great spirits. The food was good and everyone was having fun. The little ones put on a great show on the dance floor too. They were too cute.
I have to mention one striking detail about Tom and Leah’s wedding rings. Tom’s mother bought the gold bands in Russia 35 years ago. Talk about planning for the future. I love it!
Another thing I must mention is that the wedding favours they gave to their guests were homemade maple syrup in glass maple leaf bottles. (My family and I tried the maple syrup the next day and it had a really nice taste. Even my Quebecois husband–who’s a maple syrup snob–said it was good!)
