Little Lamb Photo Throwback Thursday
Today is Thursday, so here’s a short post dedicated towards Little Lamb Photo throwback Thursday. These particular photos are of my daughter taken in June 2014. My daughter was two years old at the time. I was scouting out a location at the covered bridge in Wakefield, QC. It was for an upcoming photo shoot, so I took her along, as per usual. Sometimes I bring my camera to take test shots, so that I know what I’m dealing with. For this location scouting session, I happened to have my camera. Since I normally shoot outdoors, I wanted to test out the light under this covered bridge. Who better to use as my test subject than my own little girl. She is so cute and had fun being silly. Look at that little face!
Now that my daughter is in daycare a few days a week, I try to use the days that she’s in daycare to go location scouting. It just makes things easier. But I do sometimes miss those days that I used to carry her with me.
I was actually looking for some other older photos, but came across these photos. I had forgotten about them really. They reminded me of this day, with my little girl. She’s growing up so fast. She’s now five years old. Where did the time go? And so fast! So, on this throwback Thursday, here’s to my little girl, who is one of the loves of my life.
Those pants that she’s wearing are actually supposed to be capri style tights. They’re so long that they just look like floods. Ha! Ha! She also has that hoodie still too, although it’s a bit too small for her now. I always try to buy her clothes a few sizes too big, so that she’ll be able to wear them longer.
Time flies by in the blink of an eye. If you don’t watch closely, it will pass by in a heartbeat. Book your family or child portrait session now, so that you’ll have these photographic memories. One day your kids will be grown up. Savour these moments.
